Are the final numbers based on 20 fish (if they caught limits)? 

Now, 15 pounds THAT'S impressive........

Each 2 man team is allowed to turn in one 5 fish limit per day.  The numbers you see for totals for the tournament are for 10 fish (if a full limit was caught) per team.

Ahhhhhhh, I see.  Thanks Jay.  That does make the totals much more impressive then......I was surprised at the first place prize money too.....didn't think there was that much at stake.

Yeah it is, new terrova I pilot.......HDS 8.......Gas for the season.......I could spend it in about 2 and a half minutes......but it is a good amount.......

I have one of those and they are definitely worth every penny...IMO  I think it may be one of the best things to hit the fishing market in quite awhile.

It's on my list.......what about the step down?  I know the shaft is smaller, but still has I pilot.  Is the Terrova worth the extra $400?

That I don't know cause I have not used both.  I am referring to just the I-pilot feature.  I don't even have an anchor on my boat!  I was skeptical that it may not hold in a swift current, but I was quickly re assured.  It just is a great unit that is very user friendly.  The unit gets a little crazy in high winds trying to track a previous way point, but I am not sure what they could do better.
