There are a few companies replicating the Sutton's. Plazma and Moosalamoo have some "44"s that are very close.

The Mooselook "Thin Fish" fishes as good as the Sutton. I have both & don't see a difference. One day I did get more bows on the Mooselook with blue scales on it, than the #44 running on another rod.

All those lures are over priced, but here's just one of the outlets.

If that's the case Dad, I'll take that stockpile of old Sutton's you've been saving for me anytime. ;D

I hate the paper thin suttons and mooseluks, the "old school" suttons are the ones to get if you can find, increasingly difficult for sure. :'(

Sidenote - had a guide friend in town many years ago show me his tackle box, quite a big box at that.  When he opens it up all I see are 44's, 61's, and 31's.  When I asked him where his other stuff was he explained there was no other stuff and if they aren't biting these they just aren't biting. :D

The blue on nickel mooselook thinfish is out of print. If you like this color stock up on it now.
