Gotabig1 fishing pics
« on: Jun 23, 2013, 08:09 PM »

First time posting a pic so I hope this works. Fished the Fulton Chain a couple times over the weekend and did pretty well, including a personal best Lake Trout that was over 31".

I wish I had gotten better pics of the Laker, but it was dark when I got home and I was alone when I caught it. I really wanted to release it, but it was badly foul hooked and just floundered on the surface when I let it go.

Nice big fish, congrats!

As far as the release goes, sometimes it just doesn't work out.  Might as well enjoy it on the table.  You're intentions were good, but the void in the lake left behind gives the next biggest one out there and opportunity to get that big :)

Great fish..  Congratulations....  You might want to look up the restrictions for eating fish out of there....

My son caught his first LL Salmon on the 4th of July. It put on an awesome show taking to the air several times, with the final time nearly landing in the boat. It fell short though, bounced off the oar and splashed down right in front of him. It was pretty cool!
