As you can see I don't post very often, but I do enjoy fishing. Next week heading up to Moosehead for our annual family vacation. I bring the boat and we rent a camp in Tomhegan Cove. I fish the usual areas in that section of the lake using lead core and mooselook's, DB's etc... The big difference is this year my 3 yo is eager to go fishing with me so I'd really like to get her on a fish. So the question, any advice? Anyone been there lately and can provide any tips on lure color, depth, speed?
I'll also have the brook fishing rods and will bring those with us when we go for rides looking for game. Any suggestions on local brooks or ponds where I might be able to get her on fish? I usually prefer bushwacking to spots, but with her something with easy access would be best. I'm not asking for secret spots and I do have a gazatteer and will be looking that over, I'm just looking for some tips if anyone has any. Thanks in advance.
