No color , all natural < SHINER > with a touch of spin  ;)

The key is this time of year with fly rods,  is to go early, or go late , or don't go at all !

What did you do to that salmon on the cooler? Looks like you squeezed him threw a keyhole. Just got home from haul and jumped on here to check on Clammy, I knew he  had a big date this morning. Going to watch him here at 6. Bad news is I just took some of those freezer packs down to the freezer from this weekend and found the door didn't get shut Saturday. Lost 5pks. of flounder, 3 haddock 2 scallops and 6 blackberries. Good thing she was almost empty. It's my own fault but somehow got to find a way to pin it on my son. ;D

That's terrible about your freezer  >:(  I like the idea of blaming the kid  :rotflol:

As for the Salmon, the males are skinny due to last years spawn, they are definitely eating and gorging them self's , by Sept those fish will have packed on a pound or two getting ready for this falls spawn !!! Seems to be plenty of bait around so the fish should be in good shape as the summer rolls on .

If you could brake away sometime in late September and head south. We could go on another fishing adventure  ;D

It's much better than spring fishing , warm weather and fat football Salmon  ;D
