went to sylvan brach for ice cream and was wondering why the town was so dead. Was it ever a hopping town??

Guess I'll keep my eyes open when I'm out there, hope everyone is ok! The wife and I rented a cabin for 3 nights and are headed your way for some much needed fishing time. Haven't been up in a while so going pretty blind. We have gear packed for every conceivable technique to fill a cooler. Anyone wanting to throw us a bone please feel free to PM me. Threw everything at them Friday and Saturday - dragging lead, bottom bouncers/worm harnesses, jigs multiple depths all over the lake.  Marked lots of fish in many spots.  Nada.  My engine had a tough time starting so I stayed close to camp with trolling motor and managed 4 nice eyes, 3 sheepshead, and a few perch 200 yards from my camp on gobey pattern rot jaws in the span of 45 minutes with my brother.  That last outing this morning made the weekend with my brother!
