 Got out yesterday for some more jigging , did a little better still many shorts but we managed 6 nice eaters 16-18” all very healthy
There were several boats scattered in various depths , we fished 14-40’
Surface was temp was 71.2 but the lake was flat

Fished out of Godfrey yesterday with my brother.  Kept 7 walleyes and 5 perch.  A few shorts and lost a couple too. Deep water trolling produced pretty well.

Similar results for the wife and I on Saturday, except she likes to bottom bounce worm harnesses. First two spots were a bust but the third was a charm. Nice to finally get the boat wet! Kept 6 nice eaters, a few shorts and a couple escapees. Oh yeah, we had a double on the rock dukes! One was spilling eggs so got them back in the water ASAP.

I finally got out on Saturday too. Midday run. Checked 8 fow first. Hit a couple of keeper eyes, a pumpkinseed, a 13" perch and 2 rock dukes in about 15 minutes. I was out there to troll though so I moved deep and setup. Dragged lures around for a couple of hours with nothing to show but a sunburn before I found active fish. I ran that spot a few times and was able to get a handful of nice eyes up to 23 1/2" before calling it a day.

Got out this evening with Shane and Fred. Weather was awesome and the fish cooperated. We ended up with our 3 man limit with quite a few shorts mixed in. Got to see an awesome moon rise as well.
