Lake Champlain is still open...
« on: Nov 24, 2017, 09:06 AM »
Just an FYI, Lake Champlain is fishing good for trout and salmon now and next week's forcast looks mild.

I've been out three time so far in November. This past weekend we got into a couple of steelhead, one was 22". Another trip we hit salmon, lakers and browns in the upper teens to 20". Most fish have been taking black/purple/gold spoons behind small dipsy divers and down riggers, 25 to 45 feet down. We've been launching out of Otter Creek(Ft Cassin) and fishing both the NY and VT side.

Any duck hunters shooting?   ;D
One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.
The brook trout is the prom queen of the trout world, and a promiscuous prom queen at that!
