Next time take more pictures of preparing it and smoking..  I learn better from pictures..    ;D ;D

I rubbed it with this

Then put in smoker for 5 hours at 170°
Then turned it up to 180° for an hour and pulled it out of smoker, it was removed at 145..
let it rest for 20 min
Sliced SUPER THIN and that's it.. really pretty simple

Been doing piles of eyes fishogger every weekend in smoker ,making room for deer in freezer,guys at work and family love them ,lake erie was VERY good to us this year again, didnt realize how much i actually had in freezer(great problem to have haha) but still plenty in freezer and fall casting coming up ,then ice!!! and not all done on erie yet :laugh: :laugh: ;)

Well, I was had at cleaning the garage and moving the wood shop indoors yesterday when I decided to put the Masterbuilt smoker back together. I thought at the least, I could use the box for a cold smoker. Something told me to plug it in just one more time and try it before I put the back on it.

Miracle of miracles.....it worked. I have no idea what I did (other than fiddling with connections) to get it to work. I set it at 250 and ran it for 5 hours.👍👍

So, today I'm smoking chili peppers, cayenne peppers and garlic for another test run.  I may put some black opal basil and Greek oregano in there too.

We shall see!

Actually, it got rained on the day it quit. I think a bit of moisture got into the electronics. It's the only logical explanation. Anyway, its new home is in the garage. I parked it under a window and turned on the fan. I'm smoking something next weekend.....not sure what just yet.

The garlic and peppers are cooking along happily.

Just finished butchering a cow tonight..
Customer wants  jerky and snack stix..
Here is his jerky in marinade...
Now I can finally start cutting deer that I have hanging in cooler
