I hope I don’t need it anytime soon, but I think I found my casket when the time comes!

That's clever but I'll be cremated. I think the whole casket funeral thing is a racket. Preys on the loved ones at high cost. Some day they will be digging up your bones and cremate them anyway as they do in parts of Europe to make room.

I want a sky burial. I think it'll be a bit of a logistical problem for my next of kin though.

This is written in my living will..
Im to be cremated.
Half my ashes will be spread on our property by bride and son.
The other half will be put in one of my tackle bags with a rock, small bottle of tequila and a can of beer and dropped to the bottom of a special lake..
And all the losers names are in the will so someone has to do it...  Besides the bag thats getting dumped there all getting fishing/hunting gear in the end.... ???

Just something about cremation that creeps me out. Don’t want to be burned even when I am dead!  ;)

Understandable but not logical.  ;)

If it was legal they could put in in the local landfill for all I care. It's not like I'll know or feel it. I've always believed it's just a carcass and the spirit has gone elsewhere.

Probably my imagination but when my father-in-law passed in the hospital I could have swore I felt something leave the room.

Wow I bet that was painful especially the treatment!  A friend got burned badly due to a chemistry lab explosion in high school. He still fights streptococcus bacteria to this day. D**n teacher left the kids on their own to have a cigarette.  ::)

Had an old pressure cooker explode in my face... But most.of  it was 4th degree ....
What you see pealing off is pig skin.. That was put on to prevent scars.. Not a good couple weeks... :-\
