I think it may have started when you went back to work!  That's usually how it works for me too!  oh yeah, were in Indiana and here comes the heat again.  Its brought on this time by the fact that I will be sitting in a tree this weekend!  Talk about fall bite,  how about those mosquitoes!!!

Mosquitoes? These things this year are small birds that bite and a lot of them. Went Dove hunting on Monday and kicked the safety off a few times when one flew in front of my glasses.

That picture reminds me of some lakes I've been to in the Northeast where cottages have to be so many feet from the shoreline and there are not nearly as many of them around the lakes as in here in Indiana.

I see the leaves starting to change, but the fish aren't telling me its on yet.  I still having to work for the crappie.  they seem to still be spread far n wide.  pulling 1-4 fish from each tree top I probed. I didn't see any big schools on the drops yet. I think 2 more weeks and they will be on hard.

I caught maybe 25 yesterday.  most in the 10" range with a couple bigger keepers like this one. only one went over the 13" mark.  they were gently sucking in the BG baby shads. jigging in the trash, 4-6ft down, in 8-15fow.
