Preseason Action
« on: Mar 18, 2019, 10:16 PM »
Kicked off the open water season with my dad with some bank fishing at Croton Falls on Saturday, nothing on spoons and only one run on bait. Hit Wappingers Creek yesterday, nothing but my dad lost a nice brown and this other kid got a small brown.

Hit Morgan Lake this morning with my friend Alfred, he caught 4 rainbows (including his 1st rainbow ever) and I got three. Chilly but wonderful morning out.

Glad to see you back and still able to get into some fish. Even if you do have a new cover for the head. Look forward to your reports....h2l

Gino, see you have made the change from ice fishing to open water. Congratulations to you and Alfred on the trout.

Got skunked at WB trolling with Nat this morning. Went to EB Croton after and caught six small browns on spoons but the lure bite was quite slow. Fly fisherman were slamming em on nymphs.
