Spring is slowly coming

Saw this motionless frog in the pond bank grass the other day. Didn't see it the next, but today it was in a different place. Amazing how these animals can actually freeze and thaw out again to a limit.
I actually fed some bluegill, yellow perch, and largemouth bass on one of my ponds on the fish farm today. However it was hydrated soft feed as the dry feed can cause issues for them in this cold or water. And I won't feed again for a few days.

That's cool! Can't wait for a stretch of 50-60 degree days.

Lots of noise coming out of the swampy areas along the roadways, are those spring peepers? A sure sign of warmer weather.

Driving home from Grovertown tonight I could have swore there was wet snow mixed in with the rain but it was hard to tell for sure in the headlights.
