That last fish has been eating well! Too late to be eggs I would think?

Fishogger was unable to come out and play last night. So had to do a solo night bite. First 1 1/2 - 2 hrs had to battle jet-skiers after that was not bad. The bite was kinda slow until the sunset, then picked up abit. Started throwing plastic for smallmouth then switched to crankbaits for some Eyes. Caught 8 smallies all about 12"-14" two small eyes (which were released) and 2 Eyes that went in the livewell. 18" and 20"

The jet skiers were flying around after dark or was that before it got dark?

Kidnapped the Fishogger for a late night bite. Started out searching for Smallies and Largemouth. Fishogger was giving me lessons. Several were caught on plastic (some kind of weird creature bait) after the sun fell below the horizon it was Eye time. Small crankbaits and Rattletraps. Several eyes missed and several boated. Even got a few bonus Gills on crankbait. Was not a bad night after all.

These dog days of summer and 84 degree water temps makes a person fish harder. Fishogger and I did manage to boat a few smallies, rock bass, and short eyes last night.

haha, not even the "small fish stretch" could help that lil rocko. did you measure that big gill before you cleaned it HFH? it was still fun even though the big fish mostly avoided us.

All I know is with this warm water the fish in my warm water production pond are really hungry! I'm spending too much money on fish feed!
Very easy to catch too!

Fishogger and I battling the jet-skiers & wake boarders and 80+ water temp last couple days. Had to work for our keep that is for sure. Kept a few , caught alot of short fish. Both smallies and Eyes. Was enjoyable and educational.

haha great action shot there man! them smallies can jump for sure.
all in all a fun stay up north and good company. even with your blown trailer tire(which could have been a lot worse!) and my exploding im6 rod. have to do it again in a couple weeks.
