Basin Pond in Fayette, Kennebec Counties. I'm sure you locals are aware of it, but I've never heard of a pond so deep with such small surface area other than meteorite impact craters.
I know it's probably a pond of glacial kettle origin but I'd be suspicious it wasn't meteorite impact crater!
