Mmmmm...chicken pot pie. I've been thinking about making one. Looks great Dom.
I spent the morning making jalapeņo/bourbon pepper jelly. Did 6 jars jelly style with chunky peppers and 7 jam style. We like them both.

 
And there's a pot of split pea with ham getting happy on e stove for dinner.

That sounds great Dom! I'm doing a honey brined turkey breast with mashed sweet tater, asparagus with rendered bacon and baby bellas and biscuits. pics to follow....

Omg level good....
Wegmans honey brined turkey breast, give it a good sear at 475 for 20 mins, roll it back to 325 till 160 internal temp. Blanch asperagus, no more than 2 mins at a boil then shock. Render maple bacon, I use Wright's. Remove crispy strips with a slotted spoon, add a tbsp xvoo then diced onion and garlic till translucent, add sliced shrooms and season to taste, add the speragu toss, remove from heat and cover while the breast rests. The sweet taters get a boil till fork tender, then milk, butter, pumpkin pie spice and a table spoon of honey.
