Mission complete, I was at the BassPro Shop on the weekend and picked up a nice White River combo....I think it should be a pretty good started model. It's a 9feet 8weight.

Nice.  Now get up to Newboro Lake this summer and toss that ol bass bug on the edge of the sanctuary ;)
