Very nice pics guys.  So far I have 38 pics of the same doe, yearling doe and fawns from one spot and 2 doe from another spot.  Cams have been in for several months.  Not very encouraged.  I know a lot can happen but I'd still feel better with some buck photo's.

Opening day 2014. I have been working my tail off the last 4 months and really had 0 time to scout. I usually do some grouse/squirrel/scouting trips to get an Idea of the patterns, not this year :-[ I have been hunting this piece of State Land for 15 years and really there hasn't been any drastic changes, they do what they do year in year out, and after early MZ it gets tough..... I digress.

So I have been working nights 6 days a week, I usually get out at 8 but cut out at 4 and hauled tail up to my spot with Harrie, we work together, got there around 530 and followed the Garmin to my tree. Got all settled in and started hearing movement right away... Beach nuts and acorns falling like crazy, squirrels everywhere :o I didn't have to wait long, about 655 I hear a loud snap an out he steps 20 yards broad side!! Nice little reward for giving up my entire summer  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Good one DD.  Always great to start the season off early.  Relax and enjoy now.  Gonna be at least 2 weeks before I get out.

Good one DD  :clapping:
