Well, ignorance is bliss I've heard. I choose to listen and decide for myself.I can understand a scare in Long Island. Hope everything goes well for him Dom.Rg
The virus is real. The media reaction to it is hysteria. I watch the news in an attempt to keep informed but I have to discard 90% of what is presented because it is some communist talking head's opinion or childish speculation. The horse is out of the barn and not likely to be caught. All we can do is take the exact same precautions we do for the flu and continue on with our lives. Extra steps need to be taken to protect frail old people. The stock market losing 20% of its value (and my 401K as well) due to lemmings jumping off the cliff is a gross over-reaction. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail in the not too distant future. I have 1278 days until I plan to start drawing off that 401K and it sure would be nice to have some fishing funds in there at that time.
We just cancelled our flight to Seattle. My youngest son was scheduled to defend his doctoral research on the 19th at the university of Washington. The campus is now closed and a staff member there tested positive. My son tells me seattle is turning into a ghost town. People are afraid to go out. Pikes market is empty. This is what I know. It’s real for me and some of you better start believing too.
Well I was right. Lady came into the store and tried to buy 21 full cases of tyvek suits along with near an entire pallet of Lysol wipes. She raised a royal stink when they pointed out that the store had limited sales to 10 of each. They're getting really crazy out there. Rg
Well, if I want to gamble, I'll go to the casino. But, good luck.Rg
