It’s not really spicy…unless you want it to be. Franks adds flavor more than heat.. but definitely try it. It’s a really tasty way to avoid a bunch of grease. You can eliminate the butter and it won’t make much difference. A bit of XVOO will add flavor as well.

Franks is what 99% of wings in Buffalo have on them.  Fact!

The butter cuts the heat.
Hot - no butter
Medium - a little butter
Mild - a little more butter.

Made a big pot of ham and bean soup today using the Christmas ham bone and extra ham. Came out excellent ,served with homemade cornbread . Unfortunately feeling some of the after effects now, oh well.

Made that last Sunday. Love ham and bean soup.

Tonight it’s our traditional New Year’s Eve dinner. Home made spinach fettuccine Alfredo, broccoli and scallops. ( a few jumbo shrimp thrown in for me)

Gonna make the pasta in a bit.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

8# standing rib roast on the pellet smoker tonight.

Jeff is making some sort of twice baked potato casserole and candied carrotts to go along with it.

Unsure what I'll be washing things down with, bourbon or tequila.

Right now, cough medicine is the liquid of choice.

52 years of  New Years Eve.

Wild caught sea scallops on the sear.

Looking good

Toss in the shrimp

Steamed broccoli and Alfredo

Forgot to take a pic of the home made spinach ribbon pasta.

Happy new year everyone. May you, your family and friends be safe.
I got 3 thumbs up and a “yummy”
