Well, I was having trouble creating a new wood airplane for the market. Kind of a “Santa’s Helper Block”…
So I turned to the kitchen for creativity. Made something I’ve never made or seen. Stuffed mushrooms and Zoodles with home made sauce.
Zoodles ( we love Zoodles)
Mushrooms stuffed with Italian sausage, bell pepper onion and garlic. Topped with fresh Parmesan.
Popped the mushrooms under the broiler to toast the cheese a bit.
Then they went into the simmering sauce for 10 minutes or so.
Cooked the Zoodles in simmering water with chicken base, drained and set the plates. A good shave of Parmesan on top.
I’d give it a “Keeper” status. My Bride agrees.
Don’t know if Cabernet was appropriate or not….but I enjoyed it.
