I made lasagna for dinner tonight.
It was soupy.
We used these hearts of palm things from a can instead of noodles.
Donna's idea to cut carbs.
Meh!
We had to eat it in a bowl.
It tasted fine, but as I said, was really soupy.
Those hearts of palm had no real taste.
They remind me of bamboo shoots in Chinese food.
That was the texture of them, not like a pasta noodle.
And because they aren't a pasta, they don't absorb the liquids, making it.....................soupy.
