So i got out over the past week to do some trouting. We waded rivers in our bathing suit to cool down from the hot weathr.
I set a goal for myslef this week. Im the only one in the family to take up trout fishing. My dad is an avid fishermen, and I wanted him to get his first trout. I found him a good hole and let him work it. He pulled up a nice 6" brown. I was proud of him. So he finally got his first stream trout at 54 years old.
we then went to a different river a couple of days later. I found a good hole and pulled a nice rainbow out of it. I let him work it and went up stream. I saw he had got one froma distance. I said they had to be 10" and in the cooler it went, When i came back to my suprise his first keeper trout was a brown. I rarely got big brown out of there. usually all bows.
the catch for the day
his brown is below my personal best 13" bow
During the week I also manged my 10th ever walleye. He was a massive 10.25"
a couple of storm shots

I only managed one two weeks ago. Also picked up a small rainbow, and several other hook ups, but lost fish.
I caught this one out of murky water! I knew some of the bigger ones would come out with the higher, faster, and dirtier water. When I set the hook, he came flying out of the water 3 feet! It was a beautiful jump
The jumper plus two other eaters
Im goin after some pike this weekend, then ill be up for salmon the weekend after. Ive heard some very positive reports on salmon. Im pumped
