Could you do one of your vary good drawings. To explain how to rig with a rubber band.
Or a photo would work fine.  ;D
I fish for those "stupid fish" BASS. Largemouth Smallmouth Stripers, and even Rock bass.

Ahhh - the old rubberband and paperclip clip!  And when you want to release the clip without fish?  Just jerk the rod and the band will break?

Mac you seriously have the FUNNIEST sketches I've ever seen.  :clapping:  The rendition of yourself in the boat complete with can of beer is just too much ;D

Are you kidding?

That is a digital photo!!

I think the camera accidentally "enlarged"  your profile a bit there Mac ;D  All those hours spent in the gym doing 12 and 16 ounce curls aren't being properly reflected by that picture.   ;)

Mac

Thanks for the detailed drawing - I got way more than the general idea - I had no intent of putting you through this kind of humiliation, however, I do see the resemblance.

I've heard the camera always makes you look bigger.

Thank you very much. - Fishercat

Shrub,

Try the blacks down rigger releases.  There are great.  I also use rubberband release as my stacker release.  The blacks are a favorite on %90 of all charter captains on Lake Ontario.  I have some blacks releases that I do not use anymore (went to the newer style) if you would like them.  Just give me an address to send them to and you can have them for free.
