Two of my friends and I fished a lake about a month ago for maybe two weeks here and there. We were able to head out to this one area of about 3 to 6 f.o.w. with minnows and successfully pull in nice slab crappie one after another. We recently made another trip last week but the crappie were nowhere to be found in our honey hole. We tried fishing other areas, deeper water, shallow water, but no luck. Does anyone know if crappie locate to deeper water as it starts to cool? Any advice would be appreciated in trying to locate these crappie once more.
