Wawasee Perch

My partner and I have been  bass fishing and catching a whole lot of perch on shallow flats using our relatively big (Rapala XR-10 jerkbaits) My dad doesn't get to fish much and loves perch so Friday is my 21st bday and I told my dad if he took the day off work with me we could spend it together catching some perch for him to eat. I have no idea what to use for bait or anything so any help would be nice. Also do you guys think with it being this warm all week that the perch will still be up on the flats?

or a split shot and a minnow on a hook..take a lot of minnis

I caught a few perch this weekend on minnows!!!
Also I too love the pins minnow!!!!

I catch a lot of them on canyon mini jigs tipped with minnis

Put out 2 rods each with minnows under a bobber...just make sure the depth is set so the minnow is within a foot of the bottom.  Cast with a third rod with any of the small minnow imitating baits suggested above.  Move or drift until you find a school, then anchor until the stop biting then move again...repeat.
