Moon Lake issue impacting other parks?
« on: Apr 03, 2010, 07:46 PM »
Took a day trip to Frances Slocum with the wife and kids, which we often do. Seems that there were a lot of "undesireables" at the park today. Most people I have ever seen there at one time. Also not the most respectful people to say the least. Screaming loud obnoxious people all around the waters edge while we were drowning some worms. Then while leaving the parking area we were given the sign language version of F YOU from some nasty looking teenagers. Hope the county has some more money in there budget to keep up with more traffic at the parks that still remain open. We may give Frances Slocum another shot, too nice of a place to see go to crap.

That figures. >:(
With all the small children around that park too, probably yours as well. That's just freakin sickening. >:(
I don't know how that park is being affected, moneywise and how many guards they have out there. But, that is a state park...not a county park like Moon Lake is. But,  there should be someone driving around there patrolling it at any part of the given day.
