Buying a boat
« on: May 27, 2010, 03:33 PM »
Starting to look at boats, would like a welded aluminum in the 16-19 ft range, deep hull. Gonna keep my budget under 10k. Anyone know any deals, or see anything out there, please post. Thanks in advance....FM

Whatever you decide, buy a Lund  ;)   Next word of advice is...DON'T buy it in New York State !   There are much better selections in the upper midwest !    More fishermen, more boats on the market means much better prices and most times, fully equipt !
I'll send you some links to check out.  A 6 hour drive can and will save you THOUSANDS $$$$$

If you can find a Lund 1775 or 1800 Prov V (With console steering), you'd be set for many years ! ;)

NO TRACKERS !!!

That guy down there said the trackers are fully welded hulls, and handle the waves better than Lunds? He said lunds are still riveted

Alumacrafts are cheap compared to Lunds or Polarkrafts

The reason why a lund is riveted. Did you ever see a welded air plane?
