7-8 hours away for me in southern Maine.

thanks for that information. i think thats a fair price for a weekend trip. Killer/KP lets make this happen in later march when our ice gets bad down here. that would be a great time to extend our ice season for sure. i look forward to meeting some of these maine guys. sounds like good times to me. maybe we cat Snagger to go with us. thanks for the invite guys.

might just be a plan there jacksmelt    oh ya and paradise is a 25 pd salmon on a 6/7 wght fly rod :blink:
only wish we had em' up here that big. yeah come on up. can bring you to a new lake everyday. better plan on alot of bait and a couple cases of red bull to keep up. you cant keep em off you lines. thats just tip ups. throw in some nice brookies in the mix and some great weather and its one hell of a day!

depending where in new york you are going thru canada is usually the shortest if youre coming to n. maine

Presque Isle to Sodus point NY was 14 hours just got back on Monday.

Make sure I'm part of this as I was the one who started this thread.  I would love to get out a meet some other Maine and NY fishermen.  We could have a hell of a time.

Awesome result of a post guys!!! Always wanted to go to Maine to ice fish, we talk about it all the time when on the ice here. 
I can believe 14 hours, my sister in law lived in northern Maine. Drove to her house once, was just over 12 hours.
I'm between Albany and Platsburg. I'm over two hours from Pulaski.
Still would be a great time, and worth any drive.

pretty much the only fish i eat out of the pond out front and they stock bows and brood salmon, i prefer the yellow perch. heres some with rings and ketchup, lets hear it from all you anti ketchup folks ;D
