A good warm flow over 1000 for a day or two then hit it on the drop the day it becomes fishable again that's how you do it!! ;)

Nice pic's ernye,  Look's like your having fun and that's all that matter's .. Will you be around in april ??

Can't wait for late March and April..I'm sure some of you ice guys out there could deal with this weather year round but I personally am starting to get a little sick of the snow. Usually happens around this time every year...probably a bad time to start getting cabin fever with this big storm we're supposed to be getting tonight. But atleast I can get my fly boxes stocked up with some new flies that will just sit there patiently until the water warms.

That is a good run Wayne, just below the Woodville bridge was one of my favorite spots at the north, if we hit it just rite this spring well take a run up and see what we can do ;)
Right now theres a low snowpack with a heavy ice pack on the big Sandies, that equals....you waste all your snowmelt to blow the ice out kind of spring , unless we have a gradual thaw in March or a big rain and save some of the snowpack for later...... Pray for more snow..sleet, rain .....anything to put in the snowpack up top!!!!!  This storm coming looks like a great start!!!!!!
