We had a good time !! One of them days we did more driving and walking than fishing.. The slush was locked in pretty tight down low and had no desire to fish with all the people in the recycle zone up top. Checked out a ton of water ..BS'd with some peeps... laughed at some nuckleheads and enjoyed the sunshine. Even whiskerd up a fish or two... Can't beat that.

I don't talk much Frank because I don't want too burn anyones spots during winter, once it warms up and we can move around more and not fish for the same steelhead that have been here since November, I'll be talking a bunch more... Alot of my guests are feeling the pinch of a poor economy and not making multiple trips, so it wouldn't be in their best interests for me to spot burn there spots... Spring is coming though, then look out!!!!

that deer is still there, it was at the staircase in November!!!

There is a gentleman who walks his dog below the staircase. Often in the winter last year I would see the same deer follow the man and dog. No Joke. Same deer?

:rotflol: :rotflol: Thats funny Jay... We stopped and talked to a guy walking a white dog... He said the deer really likes his dog and  it usually walks with them.. Same Deer.. it's been around for a few years.. that pic was close to the staircase.

Also the coho's are really resilient, if all the females die during the spawn ....    the left over males just mill around all winter, unlike the kings that quickly just die off, I'm no biologist, just seen them mill over til March many years...
