Snagger nice fish. What do u think the water will b this weekend? Im off now till the 8th of May and need some salmon river therapy after dealing with the freaks all week. KP good luck with both at the soccer game, looks like the weather will b good for a game.

For the Salmon River at Brookfield Renewable Power's Lighthouse Hill Dam, Altmar, NY. The following predictions are for flows in the river just below the powerhouse unless otherwise noted.

Information about the timing of water level changes downstream of the powerhouse is included after the forecast.


Until 9:00 AM tomorrow, Sat, 2,000 CFS
From 9:00 AM tomorrow until 11:59 PM tomorrow, 1,800 CFS


  Probably 1500 Sunday, then if it don't rain Monday maybe 1000 or less.... 750 aint far away now..

 Hopefully get a good week of droppies in before Waldo season...

Havent been able to fish this week, Hitting it hard next week, end the season with a blast I suppose....went out last saturday and had a great time. Hooked over twenty fish from 2-730 or so...seemed to be holding in just about every spot I tried.

Last summer I spent a few weeks chasing atlantics and skams....they sure are fun. Caught a couple out of the Oswego last spring...when the water wasnt raging.

Just got in from the soccer games..Jr's team won 6-0, 1 assist for Jr., no goals! Megan's team played a great game against Jr.!! Meg stopped 3 more goals from going in!! 1st time in my life where I had to cheer for both teams at the same time!! That was different!!    Good luck to all you guys on the river!!--KP

hay u goooooooons whats  up ?  hope the fishing was good as i was not able to do any this spring and wont be doing any till July sometime. Fished from about 8am till 2pm was 4 for 9, most of them small. Let my girlfriend reel in 2 of them she had ablast and i got her on video. She would b hooked but shes alittle scared of the river, maybe in time. So she caught her first steelie now it going for her first thunder chicken tomarrow. KP and family congrats on te great game from both sides
