That storm is just hitting us now.  THis is the darkest I've ever seen the sky before a storm.

A Blockbuster thunderstorm smashed the area...dropping another 1.2 inches of rain in 20 minutes... Most cloud to ground lightnings I've seen this season.. Great storm.. The Res. should be getting back to near normal now.. we also picked up rain Saturday and Sunday as well..with a 6 day rain total of 4.3 inches   ... Salmon season is looking better all the time now...

Heres a pick of the storm as it approached us..

Looks like i missed another good one, wheres the lightning shots!! :-\

This storm was too severe to film really with the high winds and rain..the cells were developing in place, alot of close stray bolts flying all around me when I was out in the field, plus you know I have a poor veiw looking west....suprized I didn't get any lightning on accident taking pic's of the wall cloud. deafening base from the thunder..it was awesome.

  nice sunset shot adroy.

Man that looks good Drifter..What is it?

Milled around my house today.. so took a walk up to the Altmar bridge for the first time since like early May... Now that all the pools are trenched out from the flood, they are really good holding areas for all kinds of things.. seen largemouth, smallmouth, bluegills, a bullhead and a bunch of very small trout.. some 5 inches to 8 inches or so, then seen a pair of really black landlocks swim by, the female was about 9-10lbs.. male was about 13lbs..Only thing I didn't see was a walleye, but I bet a few are swimming around in there after the high waters last fall and again this spring...
