  Toughest thing to deal with low water years is guys that normally wont venture to far out in the river do and get right on top of the runs,when the Black was open at least it spread guts out more.

  They have owned to the high bridge on the south side forever..only a matter of time til they own up to the bottom of the Town pool on the north side...  Altmar, there is alot of DEC easements at this end of the River, but they could buy the school....

 Seems like no one really fishes the LB that pays down there are they allowed to pay then drive to the LB lot or do they have to walk up

Once they have a pass, they go where ever they want for access, The first 2-3 weeks guys get passes leave go to Pine Grove launch just to boat back up to the Island.
Which of course that does raise a question.  Since that part of the estuary is in fact navigable how do they get to check passes?

Anyone know if the ballpark changed much?havent been up since right  before the flood but the bank across from the launch on the island was starting to cut in pretty deep behind the downed trees.

Lake Temps out of Olcott are mid 60's going to the pier tomorrow night to test my luck for a big fresh silvery king!

 Altmar, there is alot of DEC easements at this end of the River, but they could buy the school....

There is an existing permanent easement on both banks where the school is, but I would not be surprised if a political trick was pulled out of the hat by scumbag Barclay.

Lets just hope it never happens      Thats one of my favorite areas on the river

the  sad  and  scary  thing is  the  river i  grew  up  fishing  that  was  public  fishing  from  the  d**n  to  lake   ontario  has  been slowly  gobbled  up  by greedy  people , making a  fourtune  on  salmon that  honest  fisherman paid  to  stock  ...  and  they  were able  to  do this  by  introduceing  a  fake  elitest  vision on a  put  and  take  fishery  were  the very  fish  were  picked  that  would  not hit  and  were  dieing after  the  spawn !
  it  is  amazing  to  not  only  see the  pure  greed  but  how  gullable  honest  fisherman  are  .....

  Me and Dave did a big walk from the lower black to the high bridge...nada!!!  no fish..!!!  maybe tomorrow..River did change alot in that area, so it was worth the effort...
