Nice pics snagger...too bad u didnt get more rain to fill the res. I had close to 10" in my boat after the storm left the plug in it so the wind wouldnt flip it over

anybody plan on fishing the river tomorrow who wouldn't mind a tag along? fishing buddies had to back out for one reason or another but i still plan on walking /fishing the river tomorrow for the day before the crowds come

August 29th River Report:


      Dave hit the River for about 2 hours...he hooked about a dozen kings..they were all held up in the same run...most rapids had nothing moving elsewhere...... pretty much the same as it's been the last 6 days.....Rivers very low still....got a couple other guys out..I'll report back later...

i fished the river all day.. from black hole to sportsmens. saw 6 at sportsmens only hooked up once at the town hole it was a 10 pound brownie i let her go and the crazy ladie who owns the 50 ft on the west side of the river was yelln at me and taking pictures of me, she watched me the whole 2 hours i was there and never said a word till i hooked a fish...

Man, Irene did blow much but she dumped almost 10 inches of rain here.  Most of my local creeks and rivers have all washed into the Conn. River, probably taking most of the trout with it. Lots of damage all around the state. We weren't expecting it really.
