made it up today.  Started around 8:30.  Wish I would have been there at sun-up.  Hooked about a dozen and managed to land this beauty.  It completely shut down around 1 with a few occasional hook-ups.  All in all not a bad day....

Nice early trout!
I was berated for fishing & asked recently by a PETA type.  You don't keep fish do you?  I responded "No I don't like aquariums. I just treat them like a quick haircut, & take a little of the sides"

i was about 200 yds down from you, all the guys in between us werent out far enough so i dont think they pushed the fish up, i mean i had well over 50 hookups and those guys around the corner from you didnt have 30 all together

How did the rocks at the angle they're at hurt ya on fighting or landing them there?  Between the one tree down, & the rocks I had an 0-fer time last week.

a little further, nobody got out and fished that hole by the stump when i was there, i left the water at 1200, they were all fishing like 20 ft off the island

I've fished here since 1986.  I had to relearn this whole run.  I got some things figured out today...

;)  that's where I hooked this fish.  It took a while but once the water went down some, I noticed it right away.

its a little slow for my liking for salmon, but me and frank saw in in august and both of us were like theres a new hole to pin for steel
