I think thats what I'm getting ... Snagger said he was getting a pile of them last week.... Stopped by Saturday....... GONE !! Met with Someone who works for an unnamed Manufacture last night.... so I may see what I can do there..

Jimmy at All Sports in Pulaski rigged me up with an Okuma early last season for my shark stick. I'm sold on the performance of that reel so far, but i've only fought a dozen or so Salmon since. I think it will run the test of time though.

Disregard my last comment guys!! ??? I was talking about a spin reel, not a fly.  8)

Trying to read fast and catch up on this thread, I posted before I thought....sorry.

and maki's dago

I wouldn't expect an unprompted or undefendable comment to come from a respectable person? ???  My suggestion is to resent improper speaking as a challenge toward good breeding. Demand respectful treatment from your peers, giving your own self respect is in place. Follow those simple rules, and back talking almost never happens my friend. ;)

I've got a nice pflueger 9 wt. four piece (10 footer), that needs a decent reel! Would they make a good combo? ;)

the slv has a sealed drag.  the integrity has cork.   the drag hasnt slipped on me and ive put it through hell.  Got an integrity that i used saturday still waiting for it to dry out any know how to speed that up?
Take it apart, put it in a bowl of rice!! Works on cell phones, gotta work on reels!--KP 8)

Getting the Okuma helios after all !!
Scott, I own the SLV, have not tried it on Salmon yet, but, will! Jr. got the Okuma Helios for his B'day and played with the bass on his 9wt. Nice reels, you should have good luck with it!--KP 8)  Where are all the reports?

Reports?  Ok there's 20 fish in the river & 200 guys.  ::)  The run that came in during the trop storm, most of them made it to Trestle on Friday.  Most of them stayed there & were picked apart by the circus over the weekend.  A few moved up through and are stacked waiting right where ya can't fish yet.  Saturday I walked miles, fished 3 different spots, most guys weren't walking they just fished the circus, except for a few of the others on here.   IF ya walk you find the typical 1's & 2's  here & there.  Although the weather forecast starting right now looks GREAT!
I was berated for fishing & asked recently by a PETA type.  You don't keep fish do you?  I responded "No I don't like aquariums. I just treat them like a quick haircut, & take a little of the sides"
