I'm all set to pull the trigger on a flasher.
I fish shallow 99 % of the time 8 to 30 ft.
I just need a unit that can see fish and my jig.
I'm torn between the Vex FL8SE and the Marcum VX1 PRO
Leaning towards the VX1 because it has the soft pack to contain the unit.
But I may talk my self into the FL18 I like the idea of the split screen is it worth 100 more bones?

Looks like the X67 is at the top of the list I'm going to shut up about flashers on this thread now.
It's not the place or time these guys deserve this thread dedicated to the great SALMON RIVER.
I'll be on IS as jallyn968. http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=38003.0

FINALLY.. We are getting a decent rain and temps here have dropped quite a bit.. But the rain is important as it seems to be a cold rain...Maybe now we will get a bit of action over our way...

Diehard Sox fan right here!! Driving now to the river from NH. Fishing the DSR tomorrow.....

Tonight they will get it done, too bad the Ray's will be playing a AAA lineup for the Yanks. 1 game playoff tomorrow in Tampa and I'm predicting.......the Sox season will be over. :-( they just freaking lost all their momentum in Sept. Unreal collapse!!!

Fish On!!!!

reminds me of the mets season a couple seasons back...

funny how a team can be on for so many games, then just lose it...whatever 'it' is.
