I fished all day today. I got into Kings. A large majority of the fish were males. There were a ton of fish around and no one fishing.




Snagger must still be cleaning fish?

Tied me up some flies tonight in preparation for the next rendevouz. The gang will be at AOL soon but without me. Gillripper1 will do (2) 4 day trips, back to back weeks. Then back up with me in November. An early December trip is being discussed as well.

Tied me some estaz eggs, a blood sucking bunny leach & some blood dot eggs. I'll be working on some more too.

               Great stretch of weather is just starting this morning...the crowds will begin to build today peaking Sunday, it should look like woodstock this weekend with the great weather...People who got used to slamming steelhead the last 4 or 5 years just after columbus day may have to wait or put more time in this season..335cfs and the Res. is still 10 feet down with no rain in the forecast. That can change quick though, in 2007 we went from 185 to 1800 in a matter of days in mid October...have fun guys, this will probably go down as the year of the coho's!!!

Size 1 Gami Siwash hook does.  I know that because I cut the trebles off some vibrax blue foxes and put them on.

I just measured a size one eagle claw octopus hook and it is 7/16 in.  I use that size or smaller.

This is aguy me and Stormy met yesterday, he said im retired ive fished this river along time and if ive got to do anything more then stand up to land one of these fish i just break him off, lol he did land afew though
