Our power went off at least 12 times yesterday. Snowed all day and only 1" on the ground. We got lucky again. Just NE. OF US THEY GOT 19"

I'm 40 miles west of Stroudsburg and had 14" of snow on the ground this morning.

I'm about 400' in elevation increase from you - makes all the difference.

no long term power loss, but at least a dozen flickers - tired of resetting microwave clock..

Al Gores's interwebs were down this morning too - Verizon DSL.

p.s. - Kim Cantori is a NITWIT (like all the rest of the talking heads).

Hit the salmon today... My buddy wanted to go up to the barrel/wires area. Against my better judgement I agreed. It is just too crowded up there. Anyway, got in the barrel  across from 9 boats and below 3 more. Second cast fish on, nice steelie in the 8-9 range. A few minutes later got one 13ish. My buddy then switched to a blue bag and got a hook up. In all we did better than most the boats in the area and other guys. I think my new cure may be decent. I hooked 5-6 my buddy did 3-4 by 9am. the action dropped off in a hurry after the first hour and a half or so. After that it was a fish here, a fish there.  The usual stuff was working, blue sacks, beads.. mostly blue sacks

lotta guys up river, lotta people around, not too bad, but still a lot... good morning of fishing

Closed the fillet station at 2pm and finally put a couple hours on the River, just fished across the street in the crowds, didn't feel like driving...not a bad couple hours, landed 2 steelhead for 8 and another half dozen bright salmon..... nice day to get the rust out...good seeing you Frank... ;D

Fished upriver today went 2 for 11 floatfishing.  The two fish I got to shore were in the 5-6 pound range. Was using 4 pound leader so had trouble landing the bigger ones.

Hey Snagger its was great seeing you again. I had a great time fishing up there on Saturday. Learn the hard way after hooking up on 7-8 Kings there was no way I could hold them on 6 lb line. Changed up to 15 and everything changed. Starting to get this Salmon fishing thing down a little. Can't wait until spring steelhead. Bob
