Well I hope all my  MFF brothers had a very merry Christmas today.. I spent a day and half down in Ithaca visiting my mother ,step dad and some friends reminiscing about old times. It was a very nice trip I look forward to every year...heres a few pictures I took.

Man I wish I brought my rod, The creek I grew up on looked perfect green with no slush.

The Falls 2 blocks from my mom's house.

The view just North of Cortland New York..."Gods country"

Cayuga Lake looking north from Ithaca NY.

That same Hill in Preble on friday. The Snow was much higher on the top of the hill. I would say the upper 1/4 was all white then pines and brown. Was very cool!

Well I did the family thing yesterday and I visited with my daughter today at her moms house for a couple of hours. So I pack up and head up to the River.. What a day! I hit a fresh pod of Steelies. From 2:30pm-4pm I was hooking fish! They where very strong had to bump up my leader to 10# and there where a few 4-5 pounders and some 8-14 pounders as well (guessing). Here are the pictures of the 2 I landed out the 11 I had on!

Nice job on the pic's Snagger makes me wish i was there...the light on the lake was looking good and that back bay shot is killer, I got out this weekend to but i went in the other direction, i pointed my camera around the down town area of Allentown, got a cool shot of the Pennsylvania Power and Light building in down town Allentown looking very festive in holiday color, i also manager a shot form an over look by my local VFW post of down town    ;D
