fished big bay creek this morning. got 22 nice gills, and sunnies. it was a little rough crossing the lake. east wind is still blowing. i'll bet that the bullheads will be on tonight on the north west shore.   later...

North West shore was dead.

Fished 2hrs and had 3 light hits. No takers. They just tap the bait once and drop it. Water is still to low for my area.

I fished muskrat bay last night and got 15 but the bite was real slow and this cold weather isnt going to help one bit.

We fished the east end yesterday morning.  The Rock Bass bite was HOT!  We threw a couple rods out with worms and a couple with fat heads.  They liked the fat heads hands down.  Couldn't find any other flat fish or bullhead.

Fished NEast end in 8 feet and plugged away at the perch but only kept 30 out of 150 at least. Many dinks and the water was murky so couldn't sight fish like earlier in the week. Several pickerel too. Fished in the afternoon during the lay down and wind switch.

Only get the chance to get from Albany to Oneida a few times a year, both hard and soft water. Want to try Toad Harbor for crappie. Was told two things, one a boat is not needed, and two, it is a very short window of
opportunity and it is very close to closing. I know alot is weather dependent but in general? I am on a job with daily work through the 7th of May, does the run contiue beyond that? I call Charley's for up to date info, but they were is a bit of a better hurry mode. Thanks for any news.

May and June on Oneida and then take to different waters....can't wait. We are moving to another house next weekend north around the B-ville-Meridian area so there are going to be different bodies of water. I would love to start figuring out the BIG O for those salmon and trout (just for fun).

Yessir... Have ya put a game plan together yet?  I have two this year, all dependant on water levels. Last year, I only had one plan, and I got burnt. That's why I ask. ;)
