pumped to be back living on the lake after 9 years away and only being able to occasionally fish. Got really into the walleye last year after being a bass only fisherman my whole life. Didnt start til late may/june last year so im excited to be ready to go for opening weekend! I got the dock and boat in on friday during the great weather just in time for the rain and cold! at least its ready though.Cant wait to just roll out of bed,put the hoist down and be out there! should be a great year!

It won't be long now!

Water levels are actually above the target levels now. They actually aren't far off from where they were 1 year ago. That is really hard to believe.

Water levels in Oneida are looking good !    Was fishing a local marina with a buddy yesterday and he mentioned that the water level was actually a bit higher than normal based on how close the water was to the bottom of the docks.
He also noted that everything below the dam at Caughdenoy was brutally low.  Feast or famine !

Yep, looks good, hopefully we don't hit flood levels like last year.

They don't have gates open at cod? ??? ???  What are they waiting for ???  Rain till friday & lakes up what's going on?
I was berated for fishing & asked recently by a PETA type.  You don't keep fish do you?  I responded "No I don't like aquariums. I just treat them like a quick haircut, & take a little of the sides"

Dont you worry bcons, these guys are working on it!!!

I gotta feeling that Mrs. filet didn't have to add any release to your "calm" demeanor!! I'm quite certain you had that all in check before she met you!! ;) LOL!!
