Minnows, i believe they're called log perch. The best walleye bait in the springtime period.

for sure right next to a bucktail and the daytime sonar  ;) did anyone get out this weekend , i maybe grounded one more weekend trying to help out my eldest daughter and get my own stuff done as well , and the heat has been a bear  :tipup:

I was berated for fishing & asked recently by a PETA type.  You don't keep fish do you?  I responded "No I don't like aquariums. I just treat them like a quick haircut, & take a little of the sides"

hey guys havent been on in forever well not since iceshanty we got our as* kicked today in sandy pond but its been a amazing year for walleye

8/4/2012 26" i know not to impressive for you onieda diehards but its a sure good sign that the ponds walleye population is on a strong rebound

all this talk of the bass guys fly bys has me thinking back to september goose season a few years ago out at taft bay d**n bass boat came right into my decoys and ignored our yells and howling goose calls to get his attention and get out of our hunting ground but the one thing that got his attention was the roar of a 3 inch 12 gauge shell "no it wasnt aimed at him was directed in a safe area" but he got the point and left promptly.

Yup been down that road before it gets there attention quick now I just wait till they coe in close enough and start chucking rocks and yelling no the bass are over there  :w00t: :w00t:
