I will have to avoid that. Hopefully it is not in one of the places I fish.

Probably right. I am stuck with all the public places.

You couldn't fish all the public places in a whole fall... There is a LOT of shore access to Oneida lake.

I am surprised to hear that. I know of only a few. Boat launches, etc. The rest of the places look like you have to walk on private property and know somebody.

Here's one for Shane!! watched this storm front come and go!! ALOT of activity came from this one!! Got some video footage of it as well. Mrs. KP said I was crazy for standing out waiting for it to come. She was right! ;)http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae145/KingPerch/IMAG0138.jpg[/img]]--KP 8)

The other night we has a good south wind my buddy picked up 2 at dusk off shore, lots swirls around his lure too. They both were stuffed with shad, 18" + 19" though, a great start.

Gonna start looking for perch this weekend with Walt, maybe get a few early.

I got out on Tuesday for a few hours. I was mostly looking for bass but tried some perch spots, no perch and just a few bass.  I haven't fished much this summer so I was looking around a lot. Water was 74-75, I think it just needs to cool off a little. I checked my log for the last couple of years, I usually start getting perch when the water is in the mid 60's. I have some stands to hang any way.

I couldn't believe the pods of the bait out in mid lake.  There was no end to them.  I saw terns diving a couple of times and thought the smallies drove the bait to the surface but it was just cormorants feeding on the shad.  There were balls of bait 15 foot thick and 100ft long.
shut up and fish
