I believe it's here, as long as these nights stay cool. Coach and I did well last night shore fishing. Eyes were everywhere in the shallows. Alot of pins real shallow, larger fish were in about 6fow. They weren't super hungry, so we didn't hit huge numbers, missed alot of light bites, only one crushed my stick, rest of the hits were a small tick, like rubbing a rock. It was high pressure last night also, which makes it odd to see so many shallow.

Those pigs are so full they don't have to work much for food right now. I don't like fishing high pressure right after a cold front moves in. Sounds like you did decent though.

Was there much bait in shallow?

Not where I was fishing Bruce, but quite a bit of buckeyes in the nearby marina. Coach brought the fish home to clean, so I'm not sure of the stomach contents.

You want me to catch em, filet em..... and cut their belly's open! :cookoo: ;D Nice bag of filets for me, and a nice little sandwich bag of stomach contents for my good buddy FM  :D
