I caught 1 shorty was all last night  :( Guess im gonna have to start hanging out on the rookie thread again  and get away from all the bs, it can be a little distracting :w00t:

is it as distracting as all the rooks standing on the fish wondering why they can't catch any?
I was berated for fishing & asked recently by a PETA type.  You don't keep fish do you?  I responded "No I don't like aquariums. I just treat them like a quick haircut, & take a little of the sides"

The funny thing is you know they read this thread & the rest too.  All while wondering "how'd they do that?"

I'm wondering that myself it must be that inner circle of friends that some talk about , can't wait for ice , when we are all fishing miles a part  ;D and with the same results  :o and that's OK i read all the threads  2 but remember reporting and doing and figuring things out are way different  ;)

made it out this afternoon had to make 2 trips as first trip out ended shortly with my 4 year old putting his leg in the minnow bucket  ::)  after returning to get dry pants and shoes we went back out ended up with about 20 nice perch, took a while to find them and stay on top with it rocking out there but once we found em it was on right till dark.

Just got home from fishing with Coach and Roadkill. Not proud, cause we all got zero's. Dropped a couple good hits, but that was all. The wind , grass and leaves were a tough battle. We tried friends. Just to prove that no angler is successfull all the time. Ran into my bud Walleye 1. He managed a keeper.

I tried the north shore for about an hour last night. The weeds were manageable. Never had a hit.

God bless ya Riot609!  We've all been there!  Just laugh it off and move on.  The older they get the more funny the stories become.

Really?  My phone never rang... ::)

Picked up a big zero last night too.  Was a few more weeds hitting than usual.  Anyone know what the dusk hour emergency was out by Dunhams?  Drew Air 1 and a couple rescue boats...
