Got about a dozen eyes then got a call from Hookinup, who knew I was looking for perch for the ol' man... "if you're not on 'em there...get over here!"

The fish are chewin' out there boys!! Gotta hunt 'em down, but once you do... hang on!!

Lots and lots and lots of 14 inch walleyes out there. Almost every cast sometimes. Ended up emptying the minnow bucket with my girlfriend on a school of perch the size of a football field.

And ... I ran into the dynamic duo!! Nothin's safe when these two birds get together!!

Well the walleye fishing was just as advertised by Hollywood and HOOKINUP today.

I poked around looking for eyes in several spots with nothing to show for it. Then I made a big move and it was worth it.

Caught a bunch of eyes, mostly shorts but several keepers too. There were a few stretches of hits on every cast for several casts. I hardly ever fish with a sonar. Today was a great day to get some confidence with it.
