I got a report of some limit catches this week from shore right at dusk.  Maybe it's worth a last try before the ice chunks start forming.

I dropped a bill on some secret ice lures from overseas this week, plus I have a snowmobile that I bought last year that never saw the ice. I got a lot of money riding on this, freeking lake better freeze this year. If anybody comes across a decent aluminum or galvanized snowmobile trailer shoot me a pm.   My chinese harbor freight trailer is going fast.

shut up and fish

Gave it one more go around today. Took icecutter out there with me thinking we were going to have our way with the Waldos....WRONG!!! We struggled to find any eyes that wanted to bite or even mark many eyes. We finally found a good pod of fish but they didn't want to play.

Icecutter had to be home early so I dropped him off and I headed back out for redemption. I was hoping the night bite would be good and it was. Managed to boat a bunch of eyes, a few keepers and some perch. All on a gold sonar.

I need a nap!   ;D

The forecasted SE winds appear to be more NE... whitecaps in the channel... looks like they get a break today but I'll check it in a bit to make sure. Got some new blades I'm itching to try. I have NO idea what else to do today if I get blown off  ??? Christmas shop? This has definately turned into full blown obsession  8)
