short shaft for a kicker?
« on: May 30, 2012, 06:56 PM »
I have a nice 4 stroke 9.9 merc sitting in my basement. Ive had intentions of putting it on my boat as a kicker for trolling.  But its a short shaft motor.  Im ready to purchase a 4 stroke kicker bracket, but I need to know if a short shaft motor is gonna do the job.???

Also Ive been looking at Panther and Garalick Brand kicker brackets.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated thanks
